Superstars had an amazing day at the Zoo! The weather was Sunny, and even a little warm towards the end of the day. Each student was assigned an animal to start animal reports next week! The students were able to explore these animals habitats, what they eat and even a few were able to ask a zoologist a few questions! Take a look at our little explorers.

Swimming and Fun
A huge part of learning to write is letting the students grow and develop the spelling of words on their own. Whether that be by using a dictionary or using inventive spelling to build words. Here a few students are writing in journals about their long weekend, and using the classroom dictionaries to help with words they are stuck on!
We are continuing our study of all animals, during math we have started to explore the concept of measuring. Superstars did research and found out how big an adult Emperor Penguin is...45 inches!! Here groups of students are working together to create life size Penguins to the correct measurements.
Superstars have started swimming for our PE class. They are really enjoying jumping in the pool and learning new swim moves!
